“`Kishtwar Police has registered a case against an erring driver who has put the lives of a number of passengers in severe danger on deadly curves.The cruiser vehicle was highly overloaded with passengers endangering the life and personal safety of others
On getting the information, SSP Kishtwar Sh. Khalil Poswal-JKPS directed for stringent legal action against the erring driver. As such SHO P/S Chatroo Insp Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday has registered a case FIR No.58/2023 under relevant sections of law against the erring driver.
The driver has been identified as Ashiq Hussain s/o Abdul Rashid R/o Drubeel.
Taking a serious note of violation and grossly erratic behaviour of driver, SSP Kishtwar has written to ARTO Kishtwar for cancellation of licence of the driver and suspension of permit of the vehicle for atleast six months.“`
SSP Kishtwar Mr. Poswal-JKPS has made an appeal to all the drivers of the passenger vehicles plying in different routes across the District Kishtwar to strictly obey the traffic rules and any violation in this regard will be viewed very seriously. The similar type of drive against the traffic norms violators will be intensified in the coming days.
