Guwahati. The country is progressing because we are safe. There are those who live for us, who risk their lives for our security, giving us the freedom to live in open air. Remembering this sacrifice, let’s learn to live for others. We should keep the spirit of serving society and the nation along with our family, only then life will be meaningful. Param Vir Chakra awardee Subedar Major Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav said this on Sunday during the Shaurya Vandan program organized by ALLEN Career Institute Guwahati, honouring the families of martyrs.
Addressing the students at the ceremony, Captain Yogendra said that respecting the army is respecting the nation. Just as a warrior fights for the country, a student should also be committed to taking the country forward. Efforts should be made with a target in mind even in studies.
