Delhi- We are celebrating world deaf day every year on the 26th of September and all of us try to highlight the contribution of the Deaf community towards society and for nation-building. But we forget to request our Scientific community, Medical fraternity, and biomedical engineers to work together to find a permanent solution to overcome deafness. Doctors, Biomedical engineers, and scientists have succeeded in heart transplants, liver transplants and are working hard to ensure brain transplants. But very little has been done to find a one-time permanent solution to overcome deafness.
Heads of all economically sound countries and relevant agency of UNO has requested to earmark sufficient funds for this research and engage their genius for this research for human welfare.
