The 2026 Assam Assembly election was not merely a tally of votes— it was a mass awakening, the dawn of a golden chapter. Along the banks of the Luit echoed the sound of a new sunrise. Under the indomitable, unstoppable leadership of the epoch-maker Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the NDA secured a historic, unprecedented mandate that won the hearts of the people. This victory was the conch call of development, a firm commitment to stability, and a symbol of the Assamese people’s faith in the resurgence of nationalism.

This victory was not confined to the buttons of EVMs. It was the collective endorsement of millions of voices for five years of relentless dedication, a silent revolution, and transformative governance from 2021 to 2026. During this period, Assam turned the dream of a new Assam into reality— through the artistry of infrastructure, the discipline of law and order, the ladder of public welfare, the edifice of health and education, and the reconstruction of cultural self-identity.

*A New Poem in Governance: Redefining Leadership*
The day Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath as Chief Minister in 2021, Assam’s system of governance began composing a new poem. His temple of governance stood on four pillars— speed, accessibility, accountability, and a soulful connection with the people. The government was found not in the dust of files, but in the heart of the people’s joys and sorrows.

Be it the catastrophe of floods, the corridors of hospitals, or the field-paths of remote villages— the Chief Minister’s footprints reached everywhere. Stepping out of the air-conditioned rooms of the capital, he took governance to the doorstep of the people. This was the ‘Himanta Model’— where a leader is not a ruler, but a servant. This zeal, this passion, this selfless dedication became the greatest strength, the brightest ornament of the NDA government.

*A billion salutations to Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the great hero of this transformation, on behalf of the people of Assam.* His vision, dedication, and unwavering love for the motherland have today placed Assam at a new height on the map of India. He is not just a Chief Minister; he is the embodiment of Assam’s hope, the architect of development, and the charioteer of national awakening.

*The Grand Yajna of Infrastructure: A New Architecture of Development*
The period of 2021–26 was a grand yajna of infrastructure for Assam. With the magical touch of Dr. Sarma’s leadership, roads became highways, bridges became connectors of progress, and flyovers became aerial paths of prosperity. Through the heart of Guwahati flowed the current of modernity— rows of flyovers, widened roads, modern drainage, and a new aura of urban beauty.

From Upper Assam to Lower Assam, from Barak to the borders— the entire state was bound together by a web of connectivity. Through PMGSY roads, the radiance of development entered every village. Regions that were once neglected became new addresses of progress.

*Iron-Fisted Governance in Law and Order: A Great War Against Crime*
The NDA government proved that governance means not just development, but also security. A holy war began against drugs. The roots of land mafias, syndicates, and organized crime were uprooted. An iron-clad stance was taken against social evils like child marriage and illegal infiltration.

This was a government that did not hesitate to take the toughest decisions in the larger interest of society, rising above vote-bank politics. Dr. Sarma’s courageous leadership gave the people of Assam the assurance of safety and the right to live in peace.

*Protection of the Indigenous: A Pledge to Safeguard Identity*
For the protection of Satra land, forest areas, and tribal belts— the last refuge of the indigenous— the government took historic steps. Eviction drives were not just about reclaiming land; they were a struggle to protect a nation’s existence, a war for identity.

The Assamese people embraced this resolve wholeheartedly. Because every Assamese knows— if land is lost, identity is lost; if identity is lost, the nation is lost. *Every indigenous person will remain eternally grateful for the firmness Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma showed in realizing this truth.*

*The Ganga of Public Welfare: The Flow of Development to the Grassroots*
Through Orunodoi, the pouch of dignity was handed to women. Students, farmers, tea tribes, youth— no one was left out of welfare. Through the transparent stream of DBT, every benefit reached the hands of the genuine beneficiary.

This was the dream of Antyodaya— the effort to bring a smile to the face of the last person in society.

*Rebuilding Health and Education: The Foundation of the Future*
With rows of new medical colleges, Assam became the healthcare capital of the Northeast. In education, merit and transparency were given priority. From teacher recruitment to the modernization of schools— the foundation of a new, strong Assam was laid.

*Cultural Renaissance: The Dream of Touching the Sky with Roots Intact*
Development of Satras, the tunes of Borgeet, the echo of Bhupenda’s songs— the NDA government revived the soul of the Assamese alongside development. *Dr. Sarma’s leadership proved that one need not forget their roots in the race for modernity.* He showed Assam how to walk with the world while holding heritage close to the heart.

*The Great Victory of 2026: The People’s Epic Verdict*
The victory of 2026 was the blessing of Nari Shakti, the dream of youth, the faith of the indigenous, and the love of the tea tribes. *To Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the greatest architect of this victory and the destiny-maker of Assam, endless gratitude and congratulations from all of Assam.* Under his leadership, it became possible to paint ‘Vikshit Assam’ into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of ‘Vikshit Bharat’.

*Conclusion: The Sunrise of a New Era*
2021 to 2026— these five years were not just a government’s tenure; they were a time of national renaissance. *Assam today is blessed to have a Karma Yogi, a visionary, and a nationalist leader like Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.* On the foundation he has built, the golden Assam of future generations will stand.

History will always remember— this era was the Himanta Era, this transformation was the Himanta Revolution.
