Delhi: A strong appeal has been made to the Honorable President of the United States, emphasizing that the vast reserves of oil, natural gas, copper, lithium, uranium, and rare earth minerals located in Balochistan are being wrongly claimed by Pakistan. The message warns that Washington has been gravely misled by the Pakistani military leadership, particularly General Asim Munir, and by their diplomatic channels regarding the true ownership of these critical resources.
According to the statement, Balochistan is a historically sovereign nation currently under illegal occupation by Pakistan. It asserts that the Pakistani military’s false claims over these trillion-dollar mineral reserves aim to misappropriate Balochistan’s wealth for political and financial gain.
The appeal further warns that granting Pakistan’s radicalized military and its notorious spy agency, ISI—known for sponsoring Al-Qaida and proxy groups responsible for the deaths of thousands of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan—access to these resources would be a grave strategic mistake.
Such access, it is alleged, would significantly strengthen ISI’s operational and financial capabilities, expanding its global terror networks, recruiting more militants, and potentially paving the way for large-scale terror attacks reminiscent of 9/11. The statement also highlights that profits from these stolen resources would not benefit Balochistan’s people but instead fuel anti-India and anti-Israel jihadist proxies, destabilizing South Asia and threatening international peace.
“Balochistan is not for sale. Our sovereignty is non-negotiable. We will not permit Pakistan, China, or any other foreign power to exploit our land or resources without the explicit consent of the Baloch people,” the statement declares.
