Frontier Headquarters SSB,Guwahati celebrated 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm.
On 15th August, 2025 Frontier Headquarters, SSB, Guwahati celebrated the 79th Independence Day which marks nearly 80 years of freedom, progress and unity with great enthusiasm.
On this occasion, Shri Sudhir Verma, Inspector General hoisted the flag and saluted the National Flag. The Force personnel and their families were greeted besides, remembering & tribute to the martyrs. He also conveyed the message of Director General, SSB on the occasion.
The Inspector General shared the importance of the day among the Soldiers that how on this day our country got Independence and its sovereignty & integrity has to be maintained by all the Force personnel. He also said that being member of Sashastra Seema Bal, our responsibility increases even more as we have to fulfil the responsibility to guard 1751 km Indo-Nepal border and 699 km Indo-Bhutan border assigned by the Government of India with full alertness, dedication and a sense of brotherhood to maintain the unity and sovereignty of the country.
On this occasion, Smt. Rani Anuradaha, Regional President, Sandiksha and Sandiksha members also participated in the programme with full of enthusiasm and encouraged Force personnel & children.
Shri Neeraj Chand, Deputy Inspector General (Ops), Sh. Arvind Verma, Commandant (Admn), all Officers, Jawans and children were also present on the occasion.
