Bengaluru: Local Leader’s Initiative Brings Cleanliness and Security; Authorities Respond Positively

In a remarkable initiative for public welfare, Mr. H.S. Khan, President of 1st Cross Modi Garden, Bengaluru, has voluntarily installed CCTV cameras and constructed speed breakers in his locality without any support from government or public funds.
This selfless act was officially acknowledged in a letter addressed by Advocate Suraj Thomas to the Chief Commissioner of BBMP, requesting his presence to inaugurate and commemorate the effort. Advocate Thomas praised Mr. Khan as a role model who contributes solutions instead of merely complaining.
In a related development, the Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) responded to earlier complaints from the same locality regarding poor garbage collection. In an official letter, BSWML assured that actions have been taken to ensure regular waste pickup, and monitoring officers have been instructed to maintain service quality.
Residents have welcomed both developments, stating that “Mr. Khan’s proactive leadership and the administration’s positive response are a step forward in making our locality cleaner and safer.”
